3rd Annual Buffalo Bill Classic Charity Bike-a-Thon

Event Times

  • 7:45 am – Registration at Oakley High School Cafeteria (all riders must check in the day of the event)
  • 8:15 am – Pre Ride Meeting
  • 8:30 am – Ride Starts
  • 11:30 am – Ride Stops
  • 11:45 am – Awards presentation

Registration Fee/Donations

  • $25 registration fee. Family rates for 3 or more riders will be $20 per rider.
  • Donations in excess of the registration fee are encouraged.
  • Additional donations may be turned in at Event
  • You may pay the registration fee out of your own pocket or by collecting donations.
  • All fees and donations are to be made payable to the Logan County Healthcare Foundation.
  • Prizes will be awarded to riders collecting $100 or more in donations.

Event Rules

  • All riders will receive a free t-shirt.
  • This is a charity ride that will last from 8:30 to 11:30 am. You are encouraged to ride at your own pace and to also ride as much or little as you desire. You may start and stop as you like. Your laps will be counted to determine awards winners.
  • All riders must have their id number on at all times during the event for identification purposes.
  • All riders under 18 must wear an approved safety helmet.
  • Riders 18+ are encouraged to wear a bicycling helmet.
  • Riders are encouraged to carry a water bottle.
  • Water and energy food will be available.

Riders win prizes for collecting donations. In 2007 if they collect a minimum of $250 they win a bicycle jersey. Riders who collected enough money to earn a bicycle jersey were: Shaylynn Glassman, Thomas Annis, Suzy Annis and Eric Annis. Businesses who sponsor at  a Gold level or higher won a bicycle jersey also. Businesses who will receive jerseys are: Logan County Hospital and Logan County Manor, Waddell & Reed, Frontier Ag and Sporer Land Development.

Other individuals who won prizes for collecting donations include: Cedric Salas, Ellis Slack and Estin Slack.
