Logan County Hospital - $865,686

The Logan County Healthcare Foundation has supported the Logan County Hospital by raising money through tax credits for the expansion of the clinic and health department and purchasing new equipment.

Equipment purchased for LCH

  • Ultrasonic cleaner and sterilizer is used to sterilize instruments.
  • Upgrade the pharmacy computer system.
  • A transportation bus is used to transport community residents to the hospital for therapy and doctor’s appointments and for activities and errands for the hospital apartment residents. The transportation van can be used by anyone in the community for a small fee.

  • Fetal heart monitor
  • Portable x-ray
  • Treadmill
  • Mini Trampoline
  • Linens and various small equipment
  • Culcoscopy
  • Endoscopy
  • ER Stretcher
  • Diswasher
  • Lift chairs - these chairs help people sit down and get up
  • Computer system and hardware
  • Defibrillators - to restart a heart that has stopped
  • Anesthesia machine - to administer anesthesia
  • X-ray duplicator - so patients don’t need to take original x-rays to a specialist
  • Blood bank refrigerator - to keep the blood supply at the correct temperature
  • Hivamat 200 - This is a machine in the physical therapy department that can greatly improve healing time from injuries and surgeries
