Prepaid fuel card giveaway

The Logan County Healthcare Foundation gave away one $100 and four $50 prepaid Shell gas cards. In conjunction with the 14th Annual Drive For Health Golf Tournament chances were sold for a donation of $5 for one ticket or $20 for six tickets. This drawing raised $1,100 that will help the Foundation accomplish its many health care projects. Recent projects include purchasing surgical equipment for the Logan County Hospital, helping Emergency Medical Services purchase three Stair Pro stair chairs and helping Logan County Hospital purchase a Drystar imager for the CT scanner.

“We chose the prepaid gas card because almost everyone uses gas and the price has risen so much that everyone should appreciate these cards. They can be used at Shell stations both locally and away,” said Susan Bloom, executive director of The Logan County Healthcare Foundation. Becky Jordan was the winner of the $100 card, Christy Park, Babe Arnberger, Dave Gallagher and Warren Starns were the winners of the $50 cards.

“The Logan County Healthcare Foundation really appreciates the efforts of the people who sold tickets and the support of the people in the community who purchased tickets,” said Bloom.
