Projects of The Logan County Healthcare Foundation

Bringing a pharmacy back to Oakley

With the help of the Kansas Department of Commerce tax credit program the Logan County Healthcare Foundation has brought a pharmacy back to Oakley. We were granted $140,000 in tax credits to award to donors who donate money to this program. This allowed the Foundation to raise $200,000 to bring a pharmacy back to Oakley. Donors to this program received a tax credit on their Kansas Income Taxes in the amount of 70% of their total donation.

The pharmacy opened July 12, 2006 and has been well received by the community.
